Melbourne & More is the business name for independent tour guide Simon Berryman, operating in Victoria, Australia.

No, sorry I don’t. If you’d like to book a seat on a bus tour or join a group walking tour, there are many tour operators that cater for this. As an independent guide, I offer private tours.
-
I’d love to show you around tomorrow, but unfortunately I’m busy. My calendar usually fills up several weeks in advance. If you’re looking for something to do at short notice, how about an audio tour?
-
On a driving tour, usually up to 8 guests. For walking tours, up to around 12 is comfortable. If you have a larger group, there are other options so please contact me to discuss these.
-
Private tours are priced per tour rather than per guest. There may however be some variables that alter the price. A driving tour for instance for 2 people can be comfortably accommodated with a mid-sized SUV, whereas a group of 8 on the same tour would necessitate the use of a van at additional cost. Some tours have a per person component, such as meals or tastings, so more guests means a higher overall price on these tours.
When enquiring about a tour, please provide the number of guests to allow me to provide an accurate quote.

Group guiding is a service I offer large groups, which sees me joining your group on a coach that you have arranged. Popular destinations for this type of tour include City Highlights, Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island. Otherwise known as a step-on guiding.

Tipping is not customary in Australia, though is accepted in the tourism and hospitality industries. And besides, I love coffee and never say no. So yes, you can leave me a small tip here. I promise to spend it on coffee.
